2026-2027 Volunteer Needs
Volunteering for a PTA program or event is a great way to get involved at Arrowhead and connect with other parents and families. There are numerous ways to volunteer and help Arrowhead be the best it can be! We need your help!

Examples of Small volunteering roles:
- Support a Committee – every committee could use more help!
- Join the Carnival Committee! This is our biggest and most popular. We will need a lot of help to pull it off! Please email vpactivities@ptaarrowhead.org
- Volunteer for a shift to run a Carnival game
- Sign up to help at a 1 x PTA event (any of the PTA events listed above)
Examples of Medium roles:
- Lead a lunch time club (monthly or biweekly). Art, Chess, Minecraft, Dance, Cheer, (you propose a idea!)
- Procure items or gift cards from neighborhood businesses
- Decorate for dances
- Decorate for Carnival
- Help with Arrowhead Fundraising
Examples of Large roles we still need filled:
- Co-chair Staff Appreciation, Co-chair Community Night, Co-Chair Art Auction.
- Planning committee for Carnival
- Co-Chair for Fundraising (hopefully lead next year)
- Lead a lunchtime club (weekly)
- Chair or Co-chair Emergency Prep for our school!
Visit our list of Committees and Leadership Roles to see what open positions you can lead or support.
If you have an idea you would like the PTA to sponsor, please email the exec board: execteam@ptaarrowhead.org. Please consider leading or helping with your idea!
Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities:

HAWKS Program
Budget cuts in Northshore School District have greatly impacted Arrowhead this year and volunteers are in high need! The HAWKS Program (Helping Arrowhead’s Wonderful Kids & Staff) has a variety of ways families can donate their time to help with student safety, spend time with students, and allow staff to ensure a smooth school day.
Volunteer duties can take as little as 20 minutes or you could even spend the day!
No requirement for how many shifts you sign up for. For all roles, you must have completed your level 1 volunteer status with Northshore School District. After signing up, you will get a reminder email. At the time of your shift, check-in at the Arrowhead Front Office. You will scan you volunteer badge and staff can provide instructions for where you need to go.
Jobs available throughout the school day
Email with any questions, to request a recurring shift, or to sign up for a full day to help staff as needed.

Art Docent and Clay Docents
Volunteers coordinate with teachers once per month (and often rotate) to introduce children to the wonders of art appreciation. Training is provided. We have a robust program established and we need new volunteers to take the programs over as our secondary volunteer parents graduate out.

Library Volunteers
Ms. Ginny or our team of Library Volunteer Coordinators need your help to help kids on library day.
